Womb Wisdom Belly Dance ~ Kearny Mesa 6-week Fall Series starting Tues Oct 13th

I share belly/womb dance as a healing art form, blending elements of qi gong, playfulness, and ritual. The focus of this progressive series will include elongating the vertebrae, clearing stuck energy in the tummy, finding core stability, and cultivating a healthy integrated channel from the spine to the mind.

This pre-paid 6-week series starts Tues Oct 13th at Stage 7 School of Dance

Oct 15th & 18th ~ "Adelaide" Film Showing at the San Diego Film Festival

Very exciting news… the film project, “Adelaide,” that I’ve been quietly working on for over 2 years alongside director & producer Kelly Hammond & Simone, is finally being released! It will premiere at the San Diego Film Festival and showing at La Jolla AMC on Oct 15th & 18th. I’m planning to go that Sunday and watch it on the big screen.

6 week Intermediate Fire Fan Choreo Series starts Nov 5th

This will be the first time I’ll be teaching a Fire Fan Choreography as part of a group series! I can only imagine how impactful it will look to have all of us moving in synchrony with fans ablaze!

This series is only for those with previous fire fan experience. We will learn, review, and drill a vast repertoire of fire fan moves and work on sequencing them with smooth transitions and sassy body movements. We will dial all this into a HOT choreography that complements the music.

This series will be a mix of indoor and outdoor classes. Exact location TBD (but plan on Crown Point & Point Loma area) I’m currently looking into various studios for our indoor time.

Dates: 6-8p Nov 5th, 12th, & 19th (break on 26th – Thanksgiving) Dec 3rd, 10th, & 17th

Nov 14th Anatomy of Belly Dance ~ Fall Session ~ Mini-Retreat at Full Moon Ranch

These Anatomy of Belly Dance Mini Retreat sessions have been an amazing way to honor the seasons and ourselves throughout the year! The theme for this session is Fall. We will focus on the lung (yin) & large intestine (yang), and the element of metal in relation to Ancient Chinese Traditions.

We will eat a delicious, fall-inspired meal made by our passionate chef Ashley! We will explore womb/belly massage and other somatic & movement practices, as well as feed the mind with knowledge of our precious belly organs, our nervous system, and our spine.

Sink into your depths in a safe container, where you can let your nervous system unwind, release stuck patterns, and gain new insights. The land will be swirling with shades of orange and the spirit of fall, there to embrace us as we enjoy the richness of this day.

Due to space limitations AND our desire to keep these mini retreats intimate, this offering has a capacity of 17 women & will sell out!
